About
Moebius Medical is an innovative clinical-stage biotech company that leverages its proprietary liposomal technologies and related expertise for the development of novel products.
We were founded in 2008 within the RAD Biomed Accelerator to commercialize a patent-protected liposomal technology licensed from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Technion Institute and Hadassah Medical Center. Our goal is to leverage our liposome technological expertise, our proven experience in the development of drugs and medical devices, and our deep understanding of joint lubrication and cartilage regeneration to bring innovative products to market that answer unmet medical needs. To date, our main focus has been the development of a novel treatment for osteoarthritis, which is currently in clinical trials.
We are differentiated by our years of expertise and demonstrated success in the development of both drugs and medical devices. For musculoskeletal conditions, our unique know-how and experience in osteoarthritis and the cartilage field has facilitated successful navigation of regulatory hurdles, moving us from early R&D through pre-clinical safety and efficacy studies to reach clinic. On the manufacturing and analytical side, we benefit from our proven expertise in the development of liposomal technologies, including the challenging aseptic manufacturing processes and complex analytical methods associated with the testing of liposomal products.
